After two of parties, Gracie is pooped!
Just when we thought things were about to calm down, a lot more happened. On Monday we were walking into Walmart and a certain person was carrying Gracie (I promised I would not name any names) tripped and Gracie's head hit the concrete. We immediately took her to the hospital and after 4 hours and a CT scan, the doctor informed us that Gracie was bleeding on the front part of her brain. The Doctor told Gracie, "that she was going on a little plane ride to Primary Children's Hospital" (we didn't appreciate how the Doctor informed us). Rick and I left right away, while Grandma Dawna, Grandma Wendy, Aunt Tammy and Aunt Joella stayed with Gracie until she was in the Life Flight Helicopter. We were in such a hurry to leave to drive to SLC (they wouldn't let us fly with her), that we didn't even think about a blessing until we were on the road. Rick's good friend, Austin, ran over there just in time to give her a beautiful blessing. My brother and sister were at Primary Children's waiting for her. The doctors allowed them to be with her until we got there. Gracie is very comfortable with Aunt Vanda and Uncle Chad. After two days in the hospital and careful watch by doctors( with a neck brace on) the doctors said she will be just fine. They said it was a frontal lobe bruise on the brain and it was so small she would never know the difference. We are so grateful for all the love and support everyone has shown us. We feel very blessed with our family and friends and for all the wonderful doctors and nurses.
The neck brace made it look a lot worse.
